1. Woodvale Rally

On 2nd August 2009, Dean and I (along with the mother-in-law, my friend Tricia and her 5 year old son Andrew) went to a car rally at RAF Woodvale in Formby. It’s not something I would usually have considered going to but I really had a super time. I do love old cars and motorbikes which were there in their 1000s, along with lots of other things, including a fun fair, kids’ shows, army and emergency services. It was such a packed day and we can’t wait to go back next year. It amazes me how people can have such old cars yet they are in such amazing condition. It’s made me realise I need to be rich so I can have beautiful cars too.
2. Tom Jones Concert

I’ve always quite liked Tom Jones and got more into his music after meeting Dean but going to his concert is not something I would have ever considered. As soon as I heard about it on the radio, I rushed home to order tickets and I’m so glad I did. We went to see him on 17th October 2009. He is such an amazing showman.
