…’cause this land’s the place I love and here I’ll stay.”

#82. Go on a ferry across the Mersey.

After eight years, I finally made it onto the ferry! I loved it, despite the huge change in weather. We got on to very light drizzle then it was like a monsoon. When we got off 45 minutes later, the roads had started to flood in places, eek! Mersey Ferries operate an all day tour from Liverpool to Salford, I hope we can go back and do that again next summer.

Dean took almost all the photographs and I just took a couple of phone videos. He loved being on the ferry again, it’s been a long time for him.

Oh I love ferries, it looks like a fun (if rather damp) day x
