I am so cross with myself for not updating for so long. I don’t really know why I haven’t as everything ‘behind the scenes’ is fully up-to-date and I had been doing well. So I’m drawing a line, forgetting about being miles behind with updating and start posting again actual posts.

I have decided to change a couple of items on my list as I now know they are unachievable. I’d prefer to be able to complete different tasks rather than fail the others.
My list now includes:
35. Take a child on a day out by myself
41. Spend a week just the two of us
50. Take a photo of 5 childhood memories
73. Build a sandcastle
Hope you are all ok and still out there working away with your 101 Things. I’m doing well with my list, particularly over the summer so far. There isn’t a day where I don’t think about my list.

No real updates but had to mark the passing of my first year, I’m really proud of myself! Well done to Vanessa and Beff too, we’ve done so well!
I have had slow but steady progress with lots of ongoing tasks and this year I’m planning on getting through lots of the individuals so when I’m posting on day 731, I be much further on. Lots of my individual tasks are fairly simple so won’t take me too long. :-))
I’ve completed 25, in the process of 30 and 46 still to start.
Yay to the next year and beyond!

Happy new year! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I hope 2010 is a very good one for all, filled with happiness, love, health and fulfilment. I hope to be blogging on Day 721 (first day of 2011) with a lot more completed, it’s a big one and this is going to be the year of 101.
I’m sorry for the six weeks of radio silence, I was at my mum’s for 3 weeks and intentionally didn’t take my laptop and been busy with the festivities. I’ve not completed much worth blogging about (although Christmas cakes #60 to follow shortly) but hope to get going again now. I’m ready to start #20 by having downloaded 71 (yes, 71) podcasts yesterday. We’re going to try to tighten our belts so from Monday, we’re going to do #68 and stick at it this time!
I’ve also (vaguely) started to make plans for my 30th birthday (#38) which is 101 Days, I had no idea 11th April was 101st day of the year until today, how appropriate!
There are lots of people from DW jumping on board the 101 Things boat today and that’s great, I hope you all have fun! I’m looking forward to reading about your journeys and catching up with old friends too.

Vanessa and I have been spreading the 101 Things word around and now we have recruited some new 101 Things friends! With being at my mum’s, I’ve not had a chance to read them all but just going to do that now and you should do the same! A quick look has shown me how well they are doing already.

I’ve found a cool site called Wordle, which can process set words or words from a website. This Wordle is from my blog RSS feed and is my recent commonly used words.
